Marta Oprea brings over ten years of purchasing, expediting and logistic experience to MCA’s design projects. She works collaboratively with designers to ensure their vision for each element of an interior is properly sourced and efficiently delivered within budget. Her international upbringing and adventurous world travels offer a unique global perspective to securing the best furnishings that elevate a project’s aesthetics. Her nimble approach, a key component of her proven project management capabilities, result in completed interiors that bring the power of exceptional design to life.
Marta relocated to the US from Poland a few years prior to joining MCA in 2008. As Manager | Procurement she is responsible for procurement including ensuring orders arrive in a timely manner to meet installation timelines. She works closely with warehouses to receive and properly allocate items, spot issues with shipments and merchandise and quickly resolve unforeseen issues. Her acute attention to detail, knack for fast thinking and expert problem solving, along with proven ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects, delivers results that consistently meet critical deadlines.
Marta received her bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management, as well as a master’s degree in Marketing and Management with a focus on managing small companies from Technical University in Bialystok, Poland. She also completed a Human Resource Management Certificate from Triton College in River Grove, IL
Away from the office Marta keeps busy with her preschool-age daughter. She also finds time to enjoy travelling, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding and paddle boarding.
