Joel brings 13+ years of relevant experience to FF&E installation projects. A “jack of all trades,” he understands the ins and outs of working in the custom, luxury space. He works on a variety of projects for multifamily and model home installations. Overseeing movers to unbox furnishings and install them according to the FF&E plan, he anticipates potential issues, solves problems, and applies a critical lens to inspection and quality assurance.
From starting with notes on a piece of paper or a screen, to setting up a complete project onsite, Joel brings passion and precision to each project. He especially enjoys hitting the light switch at a project’s end to bring the space to life.
Prior to joining MCA, Joel worked as a commercial and residential electrician, in kitchen and bath cabinetry sales and design, as well as in glass and tile design.
Away from the office he spends time with his wife and their dogs including making their own dog food. Joel also loves to hunt, fish and travel anywhere he can get to, especially Alaska. He can also be found finding places in Chicago where he can continue to work hot glass.
