Emma Russell

Designer

Emma brings four years of experience and a knack for working outside of her comfort zone to MCA’s design team. She applies her creativity to curating vibe boards, completing design development and construction drawings, and photoshopping material palettes. She also sources FFE packages and assists with installations and photo shoots.

Her work hard, play hard attitude shows in her collaborative approach. She shines with hands-on activities such as working with samples, accessorizing on site, and doing whatever it takes to make things just right. Emma also enjoys getting to know a client so she can help them create a story and narrative that accurately conveys their concepts. She quickly embraces new technology and relishes ongoing learning and skill development.

Prior to joining MCA Emma served as Store and Design Manager at West Elm and as Interior Design Assistant at Outline Interiors, a residential design firm.

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from Seattle Pacific University.

A Seattle native, Emma fell in love with Chicago during a less than 24-hour layover and decided to make the Windy City home. She enjoys rock climbing, taking walks and doing puzzles in her downtime.
