What’s it like to work at MCA? Positively better by design

Living Better by Design℠ starts with the people and processes behind every great idea. We know from experience that genius comes from unexpected places so we welcome diversity – of talent, age and life experience – on the MCA team. We treat not just our clients, but each other, with respect. We hold each other accountable, challenge each other to take creative risks, and purposefully learn and grow.

Because we are driven to succeed, your time at MCA is more than a job. We empower each employee to develop a meaningful career and provide the support needed to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment. Mentoring, training, the latest technology, new challenges and opportunities for advancement are at every employee’s disposal.

Studio life

Our studio approach provides an ideal framework for collaboration and shared contributions. Directors lead a team of design professionals through interior architecture and plan development, material and FF+E selection, project management, and onsite installation to deliver exceptional results that maximize the talents of all. Even if we have differing viewpoints, we prioritize finding a solution that upholds the integrity of our work and considers our clients’ needs and objectives.

National Footprint

As our reputation for results grows, so does our business. Our growth and expansion can be seen in exciting projects in new geographic markets and niches traditionally held by large, nationally known firms. Our size keeps us agile, nimble, and able to respond to market changes quickly due to our technology focus.

Meeting of the minds

Town Halls where we gather to review the company’s performance, new areas of focus and take a moment to highlight design team innovation are as important to us as meeting project deadlines. We value camaraderie and positivity, and regularly take time to have fun together. Holidays, Oktoberfest, barbecues, the annual summer outing, wine and appetizers after work, and informal coffees are a few of the ways we make sure we are playing as hard as we work.
